Broxtowe Play Forum and Resource Centre has been open since 1985. We resource children's play activities for groups based in the borough of Broxtowe by providing low cost materials and equipment for use by children in play activites.
Our aim at Broxtowe Borough Play Forum is to help support groups working with children, often with extremely limited budgets, by providing either free or very low cost materials, equipment, training, information and support and thereby enhancing the range and quality of activities available to children.
The Resource Centre is staffed by Lorraine Reason, who is our Senior Play Resource Worker. She is supported by a dedicated team of volunteers who help out with all aspects of the Forum’s work from scrap collecting and processing, helping at craft training workshops to being on the management committee.
Since joining the Play forum in 1995, Lorraine has accumulated a vast wealth of experience and knowledge, which she is happy to share, whether giving advice, ideas or training.
