Our Scrap Store is stocked with a huge range of materials sourced from local industry and businesses. By using materials that otherwise would be thrown away in landfill sites we not only provide an extensive resource of FREE materials and tombola goods to our member groups but also help the care for the environment by Reducing, Reusing and Recycling.
All materials are carefully processed by Lorraine and her team so that they are safe for use by our groups in creative play with children.* Whether that’s paper for drawing, painting or scrap booking, glass and Perspex for ‘glass painting’, wood and leather working or creating beautiful costumes with wonderful fabrics.
The stock in our scrap store varies from week to week. Not only do we collect from local business but we also ‘scrap swap’ with other play forums and receive donations from individuals to increase the variety in store. Come along and your sure to be inspired.
